Job description

What’s the job?

Energyworx is at the forefront of the energy industry, leveraging cloud-based software-as-a-service solutions to address the energy data crisis. Recognized by Gartner for our visionary approach, our mission is to accelerate the world's transition to clean energy through technology innovation. Our culture thrives on creativity, learning, and collaboration. Encouraging every team member to contribute towards our collective mission. We value autonomy, reward innovation, and are passionate about driving sustainable energy solutions.

You will be part of our software development team where you will work on both delivering new features to our clients and thinking outside the box to improve the performance/cost efficiency of the existing platform.

Job requirements

Who are you?

You have a strong background in working with one or more of the three hyperscalers and worked hands-on on a (SaaS) platform where you strike a balance between performance, innovation and cost efficiency.

You have some experience in developing front-end applications as we aim to have all the skills needed to develop new features contained within the scrum team. Our new console is built in Vue.js, but any experience with other frameworks/languages on client-side is appreciated.

Experience with at least one server-side language is necessary while mastering Python is a strong advantage. Likewise, you have worked with containerized applications (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

Your communication skills are top-notch, and you understand the value of teamwork. You thrive on using cutting edge technology and are able to bring your own ideas and initiatives to the table.

A few other nice to-haves would be:

  • Experience with the Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience with Go

  • Terraform

  • Familiarized with front-end frameworks (preferably Vue with options API and Vuex)

  • Experience in the utilities market

Application process & location

We're looking for someone to join us as soon as possible. The position is based in the Netherlands, with a preference for partial on-site collaboration (1 or 2 days a week in our office in Houten). Our application process includes multiple discussions and potentially a practical test to assess your fit and skills.

If you're ready to contribute to a more sustainable energy future and grow your career with us, please send your resume and a brief cover letter through our Recruitee platform. We're excited to hear how you can contribute to our team and mission.
